The Flame That Never Flickers

A glowing flame,
So pure, so pristine,
So bright,
So divine.

She burns,
Yet she endures.

With a smile soft as dawn,
She lights up spaces,
Bringing warmth into weary hearts,
Warding off shadows,
Chasing away darkness
Without ever asking for anything in return.

That’s what you’ve always reminded me of, dear Maa

A light that never flickered,
Even when the storms arrived.

Through raging winds,
Through storms,
Through cyclones that could have broken anyone,
You stayed.

You glowed through the chaos,
Held us close through the fear,
And turned ordinary days
Into a home filled with love, laughter,
And quiet comfort.

Even when you burned silently,
You still chose to become warmth
For everyone around you.

And perhaps that is what makes you extraordinary.
Not just your strength,
But your softness despite it.

An eternal flame
Of love, compassion, and grace.

And even today,
Long after every storm has passed,
We still find our way
By the light of you.
