Quietly staying in the shadows,
away from the limelight,
away from the noise
being the silver lining
behind every dark cloud,
holding back tears,
spreading warmth,
and reminding us of the light
when all we see is dark.

Here’s to celebrating
this incredible human
we’re lucky enough to call,
DAD.
