Repeat Them! – An Ode to the Givers

How often do we pause to utter
a word of appreciation,
when we see someone striving to give their best?
A word of encouragement,
when someone is working hard toward their goals?
A word of consolation,
when someone is recovering from an incomparable loss?

A word of understanding,
when someone is navigating a difficult time in life?
A word of support,
when someone is stranded, handling it all alone?
A word of motivation,
where there is dejection and a loss of hope?

“I ain’t got the time,”
you might comment.
“Why should I,
when I haven’t received any?”
you might defend.
“Not my business,”
you may reject and scroll over.

And to top it all...
Ah!
Golden words aren’t often repeated, my love.
But…
Why not?

If they can really make someone feel
a lot better—
why not?

Givers never lose their worth by giving,
unless they expect something in return
every single time.

Why shouldn’t the change begin with 'you' this time?
Why not?

Experience the true joy in giving.
And trust me
it will double up and find its way back to you soon.

So,
let’s begin today.
Share a thought.
Share a kind word.
Share some love.

For you never know
what it might mean
to someone who longs for it.

Golden words, you say?
Let them be repeated
Henceforth.
