Not so long ago,  
There existed a little human  
With a face so familiar,  
Looking at you,  
With eyes that have known you  
All along the way.  
With a sweet little smile  
That reminds us of the joy and laughter  
Of long-lost times.  

For all they knew  
Back then,  
Was to love,  
And  
To be loved  
With all their heart.

Here’s a gentle reminder  
To rekindle the memories  
Of that long-lost childhood,  
Embracing the joys  
Of those good old days,  
And remembering  
To hug that inner child  
In us,  
Celebrating them every single day.  

Because we live but once—  
A life so simple,  
A life so beautiful,  
A life to be forever grateful for.
